Privacy Policy of the ŻEGLUJ! Application
The Żegluj service informs that personal data of Users are collected and processed on the zegluj.mobi website and in the ŻEGLUJ! application.
The data controller is Infeo Marcin Marek Gryszko, located at Królewny Śnieżki 18, 10-696 Olsztyn, Poland, with NIP (tax identification number): 739-315-00-70. The company operates based on an entry in the business activity register under the registration number 44609, maintained by the Mayor of Olsztyn. This document outlines the principles and purposes of data processing and describes how the Service complies with rights and how Users can exercise them.
CATEGORIES OF DATA, PURPOSES, LEGAL BASES FOR DATA PROCESSING IN THE SERVICE, AND RETENTION PERIOD
The zegluj.mobi website employs cookies, small text files that the server stores on the User's computer. These files are used for various functions, such as retaining data needed for logging into the Service. They include a unique User identifier, as well as information about the User's operating system and web browser. Users can choose to disable cookies entirely or only for selected pages. zegluj.mobi also allows logging in to the account via social media platforms (Facebook). If the User chooses this login option, the Service will retrieve from their account (within the respective social media platform) only the data necessary for registration and account management.
The Data Controller may use tools that collect statistical data for advertising purposes or to assist in optimizing the content served to users. These tools include Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Optimize, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, Google AdMob, and other analytical and optimization tools installed on the Data Controller’s website and application. Users can limit or disable these tools by disabling JavaScript or adjusting the settings of their browser. Users may also configure the appropriate level of protection and permissions for their Google, Facebook, and other provider accounts.
DATA RECIPIENTS
User data may be disclosed to service providers for zegluj.mobi's Administrator and to government authorities.
In connection with the provision of services, users' personal data may be disclosed to external entities, including service providers responsible for the Administrator's IT systems, such as:
- Couriers and postal operators (only in cases where responses to inquiries are made via traditional mail),
- Entities providing backup maintenance and data storage services for the Data Controller,
- Email client providers,
- Email marketing program providers,
- Entities providing analysis and statistical preparation services for the Data Controller.
The Data Controller reserves the right to disclose information to competent authorities or third parties who request such information, based on an appropriate legal basis and in accordance with applicable law.
USER RIGHTS
Data that the user fills in their profile themselves (excluding email address and billing information) will be publicly displayed. The user can delete this data from their profile at any time.
Users have the right to access, edit, and delete their data at any time. They also have the right to share and transfer their personal data, as well as to withdraw or restrict consent for its processing. This can be done by editing the data provided or by contacting the Data Controller. To find out what data the Data Controller processes about the user, the user can send a request to odo@infeo.pl.
Deleting certain data or withdrawing consent for its processing may result in the loss of the ability to use certain features of the application.
PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The period for processing data is specified in the table above. The processing period may be extended if necessary for establishing, pursuing, or defending against potential claims in legal, administrative, or other out-of-court proceedings, and at the request of competent public authorities. After this period, data will be processed only as required by law. Once the processing period has elapsed, the data will be deleted.
PERSONAL DATA SECURITY
The Data Controller makes every effort to ensure the security of users' personal data. Access to the data is granted only to authorized individuals to the extent necessary for their tasks. Additionally, each entity cooperating with the Service guarantees that it applies appropriate security measures when processing Żegluj users' personal data.
POLICY CHANGES
The Data Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version on the website and informing users of such changes via email. Users are bound by the current Privacy Policy.
